LaVerne always came across as very professional and willing to help us locate our new home in the Brainerd Lakes area. He was very patient with us, as the process took about four years. He periodically checked in to see if he could be of help, but was never pushy or demanding. I would recommend LaVerne to others looking for assistance in purchasing a home.

LaVerne relayed information regarding the negotiating process to us in a timely manner. He also reminded us of an important deadline pertaining to the home inspection and signing the seller/buyer agreement. He also recommended a local banker, and that helped us secure a loan. As we lived a ways away from the property we were selling, we really had to rely on LaVerne to handle a lot of tasks with the property that a seller would normally be expected to handle themselves. LaVerne found us someone to mow the lawn, handled getting the septic system tested, found me information to get the electricity turned on at the cabin, located someone to turn on the pump well so it could be tested, and finally grabbed some personal property from our cabin for us.

LaVerne is truly a "full-service" realtor, and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to buy or sell a property in his area.
